This paper discusses the use of dedicated hard-wired analog subprograms as part of a hybrid simulation model. Such subprograms are a practical and economi caZ means for extending the computing capacity of a hybrid computer when a simulation model is to be used many times. The hard-wired analog subprograms are especially suitable for small hybrid-computer laboratories because the investment required to extend the computing capacity of the hybrid computer can be kept reasonable.
